Full Day Fishing
Gulkana River -
The Gulkana River is a recognized “National Wild and Scenic River” and is one of the most popular sport fishing rivers in Alaska, providing rich habitat for rainbow trout, arctic grayling, king salmon, and red salmon. The season kicks off June 1st, with some of the most sought after kings in the valley, and ends with a late Sockeye salmon run in August. A 5 mile stretch of the lower river provides ample opportunity to catch salmon on their journey to the spawning grounds. The upper river is a 45 mile float offering an all around great river trip, offering premier trout fishing, camping, wildlife, whitewater, good times. It is a 4-5 day trip encouraged for all types of anglers and rafters.
Klutina River --
The Klutina River is the premier King salmon fishery in the state and home to some of the largest Kings in Alaska as well as a healthy run of the famous “Copper River Reds”. Grayling, Dolly Varden and Rainbow Trout can also be found throughout the summer. Fast and Cold, the class III whitewater and limited access to the river keeps the Klutina River exclusive and quiet. The 14 mile backcountry drive through the wilderness of Alaska and the aqua blue water of the historical Klutina River is a wild and backcountry experience you will never forget.
Tonsina River -
The Tonsina River is an Alaskan Gem. This remote river is class III with several class IV rapids and a reputation that will scare the average boater away. Our expertise and love for whitewater allow us to access the small window of opportunity to fish for the trophy Kings the Tonsina has to offer. Silver salmon can also be found come late fall. 23
miles of truly wild and scenic backcountry river makes for a long day, so come prepared.
We are happy to accommodate requests for multi day fishing trips for a couple or a group/family. Please call us (907) 960-0069 or email for more details.
